"Band of the Month"
- melbgigs.com.au
October 2003.
Innocent cabbage are a relatively young band who have drawn
a large and diverse following, made up of anyone from goths
to punks.
Their not so classic metal sound is infultrated slightly by
an underlying grungy rock rebellion noise, typical of some
big bands from the early 90's, I can't tell you that this
is because of their upbringing, influences or interests because
I frankly wouldn't have a clue about any of that.
What I know is that they put on a mega-entertaining live
show comprised of musical talent, lyrical skills and an intense
sound that is made all the more enjoyable by their light hearted
humorous songs that mix in nicely with an intense set list,
to set the mood for a happily violent mosh pit and a crowd
left waiting for more while happily munching on raw cabbage.
Their recording of PMG (pre metro gnome) produced a balanced
mix of songs that has the ability to either make you laugh
or cry, and perhaps even start a mosh pit with the stuffed
toys in your bedroom.

Someone made a website entirely about how cool cable-ties are. I think I agree, they are pretty neat.
