Melbourne Bands:

Nale Asylum

Nale Asylum is a band that has developed over a number of years, dabbled in various styles and played under several names. The result of these character-building exploits is a melodic, modern metal hybrid known as Nale Asylum, with common influences being Devin Townsend, Soilwork, Rob Zombie, Megadeth, FNM, Pantera, Killswitch Engage and System of a Down.

Guitarists Patrick and Dave have an endless stream of ideas, flowing from melodic lines and ass-kicking riffery, given an extra push to the edge by drummer Chris and bassist Sam. Amazing lead vocalist Graham puts his power-charged tremors on top to cap off what is Nale Asylum. Their unique versatility is enforced by atmospheric layering of guitars and sampling (their own), with an outstanding attention to perfecting the Nale Asylum sound: aggression, diversity, technicality, emotion and dynamic complexity.

More of a demo than an EP, hence the poor sound quality.
