Well, you don't really have to register... guests can read stuff on the forum and everything else on the site for that matter.
However, registering on the forums gives you access to a whoooole lot of extra neat stuff on the Pith site.
You get (among other things I've probably forgotten about):
- Your can post on the forums!
- Your own profile and personal image gallery where you can upload pics and stuff
- Access to members-only downloads (sample mp3s from upcoming projects, wallpapers etc.)
- You can post articles in the articles section of the site, and add your band to the 'bands showcase'...
- The ability to vote in polls and stuff in the forum.
- A post count and neat little beer icons (whee!)
- You get to participate in the shaping of the record label!! ...this whole thing is really heavily community based, and we try to run things kinda democratically.. get involved the forum and you'll have a direct impact on the direction Pith goes...
If that's not enough to convince you then.... uhh... moo.
