This site would not be possible if it weren't for the many nerdy folks who have slaved away making chunks of code so bumpkins like me can nick them for our own sites.
^ Firstly, our Forum - the thing this entire site is based around - is thanks to phpBB. 'Tis a damn good forum. 
^ phpBB Fetchall... it's the nifty bit of scripting that lets us syndicate forum stuff through to the 'front' pages of the site, stuff like the gigs listings and the articles section just wouldn't be possible without it... 'tis good stuff, check it out.
^ osCommerce is what we use for our online shop... it's a free "online shop e-commerce solution", which is quite wow 'cause it really is an amazingly powerful damn product to be free... booyah.
^ We use the Smartor Photo Album for our photo gallery thingies... it's pretty spiff...
^ For our resources directory we use a nifty bit of code from dB Master... Make sure to go check out dB's online community the "Home Recording Connection" too...
^ For our articles section we use a very, very altered version of MD Web's MD Article. Just a nice easy-to-change chunk of code for listing articles...
Well, I think that covers it!
That's what's powering the technical side of the Pith Records site. However, what really makes the Pith site the thing it is is all our forumgoers, folks who contribute to our articles and gig listings and resources and all that... so a big ol kudos to them too!
