Mothers Against Noise

I spoke to this anti-noise group via email, no, it’s not a joke, they’re very serious. You can visit their website at mothersagainstnoise.us.
Pith: First off, who are M.A.N. and why have you formed this group?
M.A.N.: We a group of concerned parents and people who dedicated in spreading the truth about what evils and dangers this current Noise Music movement represents. We also have confronted Noise Music fans and artists at shows and online.
And of course, for our readers who aren’t yet aware; what is ‘noise music’, where does M.A.N. put bounds on what is and isn’t part of this genre?
Noise Music is the accepted term from the current crop of ‘radical’ music that is set out to destroy all forms of culture that it deems outdated or tradtional.
Why ‘noise music’ in particular, what fears have been raised by members of M.A.N. about this subgenre?
these so-called artists by rejecting all forms of standard music forms (melody, notes, songs) are trying to erase the natural vibratory order that was given to humanity by the highest power in the universe. This audible information is meant to praise and rejoice for joy and happiness are help mankind reach its ultimate potential. Unlike other current forms of extreme music Noise Music is aware of this power and rejects it completely and is trying to replace higher forms of transcendant vibrations with a sadomachosict human worldveiw.
How have things been going with developing the organization? What things are helping M.A.N. grow it’s voice, on the internet and otherwise?
Well the internet is a big help we have been an orgaization since 2004, but since we went online with our message and developing online tactics to help people. We have gotten our message out to almost every corner in the world, and we have been able to work with parents and citizens from all over the world.
You seem to receive a lot of criticism from ‘noise artists’, in particular those who took over the .com and .org equivalents of your domain name, why do you think the response from these groups has been so negative?
Well I can see that it is quite a natural reaction since these peoples ideals are built on nothing but false human realities. And since we are here to help bring light to these people, they either will accept what we say or die fighting against us. With the whole incident of noise fans taking over our website and producing alot of disinformation about who we really and trying to discredit the movement by lying and sayiing we are part of the music industry masking as a parental organization, it just shows what kind of people we are dealing with. These people had no morals about lying to everyone just to promote what they consider music.
What would you say to these people if you could speak face to face?
I would try to explain to them how by placing faith in mankinds limited awareness cycle creates an illusionary nature of reality.
What questions do you think the existence of noise music raises about society in general? Is it a localized problem or a global one?
Its a global movement its already showing up in Europe and parts of Asia, how much longer until it infects the mother Africa?
Mental health is a issue gaining more and more public attention with young people, what are M.A.N.’s views on the subject, in relation to your agenda?
We are not conecerned with mental heath or psychobabble, we are concerned with the spiritual nature of music reality and how its effects society and the individual awareness.
What kind of local action do you believe concerned parents should be taking in regards to noise music?
Immediate action should happen at every moment in a person waking days, it should be unretting and its important that anyone taking action should be clear about their intentions and know that they are on the right side of the fight.
